Camped at Three Creeks Lake
Arrived at Three Creeks Lake a little before six and setup camp.  Fished a bit that evening
after dinner, no luck.  Went to bed around nine after a nice fire and tried to read.  My book
wasn't making any sense though; realized I was having another migraine.  I've been getting
them every 3-4 months for the past five years.  The migraines started after a business trip to
Paris where I was hit on the forehead with a lead blackjack and stabbed in the back of the
head during an attempted "execution" at the foot of the Eiffel Tower.  Couple of young Arab
immigrants were convinced I should die for the actions of my country.   When one let go of the
girl I was with to take a picture of the other slicing my throat, I took the opportunity to extract
myself.   I still retain the image of staring down at myself in the courtyard after the scuffle; girl
running down the steps, Assailent 1 running through fountain, Assailent 2 crawling towards the
 street...
My injuries were superficial, and after an evening with the French counter-terrorism agency
and a quick trip to get stitched up, I was free to return home.  The event was reason enough
for me to take some time off
though, and so I retired mid-career to travel, learn, and decide
what I really wanted to do with my life.
